Gambling at Malaysia – The rumour regarding the prohibition of gambling in Malaysia has attracted public attention when the State Council Expert representing DAP, YB Liew Chin Tong, has voiced their rebuttal regarding the increase in the frequency of typical gambling for prediction gambling from 8 times to 22 times a year. DAP’s denial has been described by certain parties as if DAP and PH desire to prohibit Gambling at Malaysia.
The fact is that DAP and PH (including PAN) have no desire to forbid Gambling than on Malaysian soil. This fact was proven if DAP had previously held the notion that gambling was prohibited in Malaysia, only they demanded that the frequency of the typical withdrawal be reduced when the usual withdrawal of number prediction gambling made other than Tuesday every week was continued.
The way DAP denied the increase in the frequency of typical withdrawals in the State Council was then greeted by the PH cyber soldiers who tried to confuse the common people, as if the frequency of withdrawal of the number prediction gambling was only 8 or 22 years. Whereas in fact the frequency of number prediction gambling withdrawals other than the typical withdrawal, is three times a week, which is about 162 times a year. The problem is why DAP and PH are silent about the frequency of this 162?
While PAS has always been determined to completely prohibit gambling from Malaysian soil, including number prediction gambling, namely 162 regular withdrawals and 8 or 22 typical withdrawals. In fact, in the Prosperous State Master Insights (WINS) put forward by PAS before the 14th PRU, the complete prohibition of the gambling industry is targeted by 2025, namely in the first phase of WINS between 2018 and 2030.
The complete prohibition of the gambling industry is thought to take a certain period because it not only involves licensed gambling, but also involves unlicensed gambling and online gambling. Gambling activities have the same license as open gambling houses such as the Genting Highland Casino or number prediction gambling such as Toto, Magnum and Da Ma Cai, which are easily attacked by the government’s political will, when gambling is not licensed and online gambling is different.
In this regard, the WINS henchman squad under PAS wishes to present a full reserve or WINS proposal to clean up gambling activities in this country to the Kingdom of Malaysia. Before being put forward to the royal party, the proposal will be put forward to all parties including NGOs and political parties to be strengthened and added well.
